How we check

We fetch the page’s HTML and parse every application/ld+json block, including @graph arrays, plus microdata. Each item is checked against the required and recommended properties Google documents for its type. Drafts use your page title, description, logo, social links and question-style headings.

Is this the same as Google’s Rich Results Test?

It checks the same common properties, and adds the entity and FAQ markup AI engines use. For the final word on rich results, also run Google’s test.

JSON-LD or microdata?

JSON-LD. Google recommends it, and it’s easier to add and maintain because it sits in one script block rather than across your HTML.

Does schema help with ChatGPT and AI Overviews?

It helps engines understand who you are and what a page covers, which makes accurate citations more likely. It doesn’t guarantee them.

Can it generate schema for me?
